Do you ever find yourself asking this question? Once when Tom Brady was being interviewed he asked, “Why do I have all these Superbowl rings and success upon success and still think there is something more for me out there?”

Someone once said that the two most important days of a man’s life are the day he was born and the day he discovers why. 


The newly formed Fishers of Men is a group of men on a journey to discover the why and to shape our lives around that 2nd most important day; that discovery. We want to light men’s hearts on fire for Christ. Our goal is to invite men into a spiritual funnel and accompany them into a deeper relationship with Jesus and his Church.

We were born in this day, at this time for a purpose. 


Fishers of Men offer three opportunities for connection with men on a similar quest:
 

• Hang events – designed for men who are testing the water of where they might like to join in this quest for purpose.  Fun events with kids and friends.  Camping trips, card tournaments, sports, food, and fun.
• Diving deeper events – wherever you find yourself on the journey of life, we offer relevant opportunities to go deeper, to deal with today’s issues in raising kids in every type of family configuration.  Opportunities to become the men we are called to be.
• Small groups – Every leader needs a place to discuss issues and seek the best solutions to whatever life throws at us.  Every man needs a place where other men help shape his worldview based on our Faith.  More than ever, men need other men who have a wisdom to see beyond the situations in front of them.

• Communication and follow up

• Meet bi-weekly with 6 – 8 guys
• Focused on becoming the men God created us to be
• Possible areas of focus for gatherings
  • Discussion of upcoming Sunday readings
  • Faith deepening content from a variety of sources such as Formed.org
  • Accountability groups

• We will equip and train those who agree to facilitate a small group
• Coaching as necessary
• Provide suggested content for group focus
